DORIS F. KAESTNER, nee, Mesch, 79, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born February 27, 1933, in St. Louis, Missouri, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Mrs. Kaestner was retired from Gliks in Cahokia, IL and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, The Villages, FL.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Orbet E. Kaestner; her parents, Roy and Frances, nee Nielson, Mesch; a brother-in-law, Roy Kaestner; and a grandson, Daniel Lopez.

Surviving are her children, James (Teresa) Kaestner of San Francisco, CA, Paul Kaestner of Maryland Heights, MO, and Susan (Victor) Lopez of Wildwood, MO; two sisters-in-law Janet Kersey of The Villages, FL and Judy Kaestner of Florissant, MO; four grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, Doriana, and Dane.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral ervices will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Trinity Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
